


This virtual round case study presentation will educate licensed therapists about the latest trends in ACL etiology, surgery and rehabilitation. The goal of this presentation is to outline the critical thinking and decision-making process for treating ACL reconstruction patients using evidence-based practice as well as education on strength and conditioning protocols, preinjury rehab for prevention and return to sport parameters with a particular focus on the female soccer player.

Course Objectives
- Be able to facilitate discussion and critical thinking around ACL etiology, latest surgery and rehab trends
- Understand ACL rehabilitation from acute stage to end stage recovery using evidence-based practice
- Perform an evaluation and develop an appropriate plan of care to treat ACL tears with a particular focus on female soccer players.
- Be able to understand and implement the FIFA 11+ protocol for ACL injury prevention
- Understand and able to implement appropriate strength and conditioning exercises for ACL prevention and ACL rehabilitation.
