This virtual round case study presentation will educate licensed therapists about the latest trends in pediatric orthopedic injuries and conditions. The goal of this presentation is to outline the critical thinking and decision-making process for treating orthopedic injuries in the pediatric population using evidence-based practice.

Course Objectives
- List the key physical fitness guidelines for: Preschool Aged Children 3 to 5 years; School Aged Children 6 to 11 years and Adolescents 12 to 19 years old.
- Be able to give 3 examples of each of the following activities: Aerobic; Muscle Strengthening and Bone Strengthening for Preschool Aged children; School Aged Children and Adolescents.
- Give an example from each activity area for Children and Adolescents with Disabilities.
- Identify the most common cause of youth injuries associated with sports and the signs which identify this diagnosis.
- Identify 2 anatomical areas that are susceptible to injury and recommend a plan of care for recovery and rehabilitation.
