Pickleball was ranked the fastest growing sport in the US for the third year in a row now. No surprise with that massive growth has come a concomitant growth in Pickleball specific injuries with fractures from pickleball injuries increasing 200% in the last 20 years. With many other common injuries increasing in incidence and being associated with Pickleball including ankle, back, knee and shoulder sprain/strain injuries as well as pivot and fall related injuries, the need for PT for this population has matched its growth rates! This course will not only allow you to gain a valuable background and understanding of the necessary body mechanics but most importantly will guide you in a unique assessment and pickleball screening followed by both preventative and rehabilitative based treatment approaches specific for your Pickleball player populations in your clinics. Let’s get Dinking!
