Are the courses accredited?
ALL Live courses are pre-approved in the state they are hosted in or have reciprocity through an approved board.
Online courses are approved through the Texas Board of Physical Therapy. If you are taking an online course and do not share reciprocity, you can apply for approval. We will provide all the necessary information.
Texas Board of Physical Therapy provides reciprocity for the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

In addition to Physical Therapy approval, CORA is an AOTA Board Approved Provider and BOC Approved Provider
What are the COVID policies for LIVE courses?
For upcoming courses, we continue to place priority on the health and safety of our community. Here are the precautions we’ll be taking:
- Hand hygiene: All employee are to wash hands with soap and water upon entry into the clinic and throughout the duration of the course
- All clinicians are strongly encouraged to always wear an FDA-cleared surgical mask while in the clinic.
- All clinicians who work in clinics where there is a local or state mask mandate, and/or the clinic is in an area of substantial or high transmission, must always wear an FDA-cleared surgical mask while in the clinic, including breakrooms or other spaces where they might encounter co-participants.
- Supplying disinfectant spray onsite/ Disinfect between procedures
Do the PT manual or PTA Orthopaedic certification courses need to be completed in a specific order?
No, 6 courses, may be taken in any order. We recommend taking Pelvic/ Lumbar prior to Lower Quarter and Cervical/ Thoracic prior to Upper Quarter
Do the Vestibular Concussion certification courses need to be completed in a specific order?
Yes, Evaluation and Treatment of Vestibular Disorders must be completed prior to Evaluation and Management of Post-Concussion. The third and final course is Advanced Vestibular and Post-Concussion.
What should I wear?
Our courses are lab-intensive. We suggest you wear appropriate clothing that allows for free movement, to treat and be treated in the subject area of the course. You may receive more detailed instructions after registration.
Please limit fragrances.
How do I find the course location?
The course locations are listed on the website. It will also be provided in your registration email. In rare cases, if the course location changes, you will be notified.
Is partial credit allowed?
CEUs are determined by the accrediting body. In rare cases, partial credit may be awarded. You must contact [email protected] in advance.
Is there pre-work?
Some courses may require pre-work. It will be included in the course description, and you will be notified upon registration.
Cancellation policy
LIVE-In Person
Institute for Clinical Excellence reserves the right to cancel a course. In the unlikely event of cancellation, Institute for Clinical Excellence will issue a full refund. Institute for Clinical Excellence is not responsible for other charges incurred.
Registrants canceling outside of 14 days may receive a full refund or transfer to another course without penalty.
Registrants canceling within 14 days are not eligible for a refund. Registrants can transfer the credit to future registration.
Registrants who do not show up for a course have one week after the course to notify Institute for Clinical Excellence at [email protected] of their absence and transfer the credit to another course, future registration in addition to a $50 cancellation fee. If the registrant does not notify within 7 days, all funds are forfeited.
